James Dewayne "Jim" Woods
July 18, 1957 ~ June 2, 2025

James "Jim" Woods, age 67, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Dewey, Oklahoma.

Jim was born on July 18, 1957, in Chicago, to his mother, Jane Grant. He moved from Chicago to Oklahoma at a young age and received his education at Caney Valley School in Ramona, graduating with the Class of 1976. Jim dedicated his entire career to the construction industry.

On March 22, 1991, Jim married Annette Woods, uniting their lives.

Jim's hobbies and passions included rodeos, team roping, fishing, farm life, and woodworking. He cherished his time pursuing these interests.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annette Woods; his mother, Jane Grant; and his grandparents, Searles and Elvina Grant, who raised him.

Jim is survived by his two sons, Jeff Woods and Jake Woods. He also leaves behind a loving legacy in his 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
