Julie Ann Woods, age 65, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away August 1, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Howard officiating. Face masks are required. Julie will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City, KS, following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
Julie was born on April 25, 1956 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Donald and Alice (Hubbard) Haslett. Julie was a dedicated social worker for Kay County. She enjoyed crafting and Texas Hold ‘Em Poker with her beloved card buddies. Julie was an avid OSU and OKC Thunder sports fan. She owned and operated Monarch Studios in Blackwell, OK and adored teaching baton, twirling, ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes in Blackwell, OK.
Survivors include: fiancé, Clint Hall; daughters, Shawna Tiernan of Tulsa, OK and Barclay Locke and husband, Jase, of Newkirk, OK; son, Casey Woods of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Brittany Tiernan, Easton Tiernan, Braden Tiernan, Keaton Tiernan, Jake Lock, and Tinley Locke; sister, Cathy Bowker and husband, Steve, of Wichita, KS; brother, Rusty Haslett of Atlanta, GA; and cousin, Wendy Dickey and husband, Joe, of Arkansas City, KS.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Donald and Alice Haslett.
Casketbearers will be Casey Woods, Jase Locke, David Hall, Brian Hall, Braden Tiernan, Easton Tiernan, Kelly Woods and Jake Locke. Honorary Casketbearers will be Keaton Tiernan and Clint Hall.
