Donald Charles Woods
December 15, 1936 ~ December 23, 2020

Donald C. Woods, age 84 of Rose, OK (formerly of Colcord, OK), passed away on December 23, 2020 at the East Gate Village Healthcare Center in Muskogee, OK.

He was born on December 15, 1936 in Newton KS to Leonard and Nora Woods. He retired in 1978 from the United States Air Force after serving our country for 21 years. Afterwards he moved his family to Colcord, OK and began working at Franklin Electric in Siloam Springe. AR later retiring from there.

In his spare time, he enjoyed working with his scroll saw and other woodworking tools. He also enjoyed camping and fishing and talking to everyone he met. He could always be seen with a diet coke in his hand.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of many years Lula woods, a daughter Judy Woods, a son Steven Woods a grandson John Williams, two sisters Fay Baker and Dorothy Worrell, two brothers Archie Woods and Lee Woods.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Debra Gehrke and husband Harold of Siloam Springs, AR, Carol Baker of Siloam Springs, Rose Williamson of Goldsboro, N.C., a son Michael Woods and wife Jenna of Ada. OK, 11 grandchildren and Many nieces, nephews, and friends

He will have a Graveside service in the Fayetteville National Cemetery on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at 10;30 am. There will be a visitation at the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel in Grove, OK. From 5 to 7 PM on Monday Jan. 4, 2021
