Caleb was born July 17, 1998, in Mobile, Alabama, to Darryl, Sr., and Jennifer (Bunn) Woods, and passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, in Enid.
Caleb was a perfect, beautiful, loving, and kind soul who came into this world as a blessing from God. He faced many challenges throughout his life but never lost fighting spirit until God called him home. Caleb was a pure-hearted individual who never once uttered an unkind word or committed any wrongdoing. He loved everyone unconditionally, and those who knew him well cherished him deeply. We felt his loving spirit whenever we were near him, which was so powerful and peaceful that it could lull us into a peaceful sleep. Caleb was aware that his time on earth was limited, so he made it his mission to touch the lives of those around him and inspire them to have faith in God. Even though the doctors only gave him an hour to live, he miraculously survived for 24 years, a testament to God's goodness. Amen.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Darryl, Sr., and Jennifer Woods, of the Home in Enid; six siblings, sister Kurtista Washington, of Mobile, AL, sister Toccara Bunn, of Enid, four brothers, Terrence Washington of Mobile, AL, Christopher Woods, Sr., and wife Anna, of Enid, Darryl Woods, Jr., of Oklahoma City, OK, Xavier Woods of Enid; four uncles, Albert Bunn, III and wife Tracy, of Mobile, AL, Leland Bunn, Sr., and wife Natikia, of Mobile, AL, Terrell Woods of Atlanta, GA, Dexter Woods and wife Krystal, of Mobile, AL; one aunt, Rhonda Woods, of Atlanta, GA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
