Tressa Gallant Wood, age 59, of Montclair, CA, left this life for the next, on October 20, 2020 at 10 am in the care of her family. Tressa was born on June 21, 1961 in San Bernardino, CA to Delbert and Kerry Gallant.
She attended Chaffey High School in Ontario California and graduated third in her class at Seymour High in Missouri. Tressa was saved and baptized in Diggins, MO at the age of 17 Tressa married Bruce T. Wood on April 24th, 2000. They enjoyed a happy marriage of 20 years. She worked in home repair, owning her own business, A Woman’s Work. “Just as handy as a man”, before leaving California. She came to Marshall county in the Spring of 2005 from Victorville, CA to retire on Lake Texoma and be close her grandchildren. Tressa Attended Victory Life Church in Durant OK, where she loved to worship in praise. Tressa enjoyed traveling, visiting many places in the US and overseas. She was always up for a good time and adventure, taking those she loved along for the ride. A true outgoing person, with a giving heart, making friends wherever she went. She was a true blessing to all those who knew her and will be greatly missed by many friends and all family.
Tressa is preceded in death by her parents Delbert R. Gallant and Kerry L. Ratkowski. Foster parents, Lee and Helen Dennis Grandmother Merrill Gallant, and sister Robin Ratkowski.
Tressa is survived by her husband Bruce T. Wood of the home. Her daughter Tiffany Whitehead and husband Bill of Kingston, OK. Grandchildren Tory, Tylee, Asher, Claire and Kayden of Marshall Co. OK. Sisters Tina Northeim of Bermuda Dunes, CA and Jacquelyn Ratkowski of Folsom, CA.Brothers Don Ratkowski of Loomis, CA, and Bobby Ratkowski and wife Danielle of Folsom, CA.
