Sue Ellen Wood passed from this life June 28, 2020. She was born October 31, 1954 in Oklahoma City to Marvin Alton Pierce and Nellie LaVern Pierce (Brown).
Sue enjoyed traveling and especially loved taking road trips. One of her most favorite things to do was cruise around at night and listen to her favorite music. She and her daughter Rebecka recently took a trip to Florida and visited the beach. They had so much fun together and made amazing memories. She also enjoyed spending time at Lake Texoma with her family and had a passion for water skiing. Sue adored her family and was always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. She had the honor of being a motherly figure to so many people around her and she could always be counted on when anyone needed her. She was also crazy about her grand-dog, Lazy, and Lazy was just as crazy about her.
Sue was preceded in passing by her parents, Marvin and Nellie Pierce
Those left to continue her legacy include her daughters, Rebecka Wood and Crystal Wood; brothers, Lennis Pierce and Jesse Robert Pierce; and grandchildren, Brandon Richards, Alex Wood, Adam Wood, and Alicia Wood. Sue is also survived by her very best friend, Debbie Wood; Goddaughters, Jodi Jackson, Pamela Rupert, and Cindy Johnson; and her beloved grand-dog, Lazy.
Sue’s Celebration of life will take place at 2:00pm, Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Chapel at Resthaven, 500 S.W. 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
