Richard D Wood

Memorial service for Richard D. Wood, 79 was at 2 p.m. Fri., June 24, 2016 at Hennessey Church of Christ officiated by Lanny Jobe.

Cremation arrangements were by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Richard was born at Luther on Jan. 15, 1937 to Richard Earl and Nora Abbott Wood and died Mon., June 20, 2016 at Hennessey Care Center.

He is survived by four sons, Richard L. Wood, Robert Wood and wife Teresa, Michael Wood and wife Tammy, all of Hennessey, and Edward Wood and wife Kelly of El Reno; two brothers, Sam Wood and Jim Wood, and two sisters, Betty Wallace and Ann Bell; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
