O.L. "Woody" Wood

???? ~ Dec. 21, 1996 | Age 67

CANADIAN - O.L. "Woody" Wood, 67, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. David Marak, pastor of Believers Covenant Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors.

Mr. Wood was born in Cement, Okla. He married Dean Robb in 1946 at Anadarko, Okla. They moved to Wheeler from Canadian in 1964 and returned to Canadian in 1974.

He was employed by Mobil Oil Co. for eight years and Phillips Petroleum for nine years. He and his wife owned and operated the Qwik Stop in Canadian for 13 years.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sue Ford of Mustang, Okla., and Robin Frey of Shreveport, La.; two sons, Buddy Wood of Shamrock and Keith Wood of Canadian; two sisters, Juanita Walker and Zella Harris, both of Chickasha, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association.
