Grace Inez (Rupe) Wood

Mar. 9, 1925 - Jan. 28, 2007

Grace went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday morning January 28, with her family by her side.

Grace was born in Antlers, Oklahoma, on March 9, 1925, to Jonathon and Lily Rupe.

At the age of twelve she lost her mother and then took on the responsibility of taking care of her younger brothers and sisters.

In 1949 she married James (Buster) Wood and they had one son, Bruce.

Although she only had one son she enjoyed being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Grace enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren and attending church at New Life in Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Buster; her son, Bruce; her granddaughter, Demree and husband, Jason Jennings; and her great- grandchildren, CJ, Ashley, Dakota, and Jaden; her sisters, Fay Bispo and Fern Fanucchi; and her brother, Buddy Rupe.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Cecil, Virgil, Robert, Hubert and Jay.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1st, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Chapel services will be on Friday, February 2nd, at 10:00 a.m., in Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park.
