Robert Wilson Wolfinbarger died in his Woodland home Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at age 86.
Born July 2, 1917, in Council House, Okla., Mr. Wolfinbarger had been a Yolo County resident for 59 years. He was employed for 34 years at Midland/Citizens Chevrolet and he was the owner and operator of Bob's Gas & Service for nine years before retiring. He was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Woodland.
Survivors include his daughter, Jan Woltmon and husband Dale of Woodland; son-in-law, Woody Thomason of Lewiston; grandsons, Jeff Sissom and wife Roxie, Robert Sissom and wife Brenda, Scott Woltmon and wife Jennifer, Tom Woltmon and Doug Woltmon and wife Kassie, all of Woodland; great-grandchildren, Darren, Daniel, Katie, Jason and Michael Sissom and Alyssa, Derek and Dylan Woltmon; sisters, Avis Collins and husband Jack, Jessie Winscott, Freeda King and husband Calvin, Mae Dutra and Arvilla Dubuque; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by his wife, Drucella Wolfinbarger; daughter, Launda Thomason; and brother, Sidney C. Wolfinbarger.
The family requests memorials be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617; or the Calvary Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.
Services: Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 26, at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St. The funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, at the Calvary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.
