Adam "Duda" Wolfe

Adam "Duda" Wolfe
May 30, 1937 ~ January 14, 2021

Adam “Duda” Wolfe was born on May 30, 1937 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to the late Jim and Maude (Catron) Wolfe. He passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Stilwell Nursing Home at the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 15 days.

His younger years growing up, Adam worked in Colorado plowing broom corn and he worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad that he did enjoy. He also worked at Greenleaf Nursery of Park Hill, Oklahoma from 1979 to his retirement in 2003. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, getting together with his brother and friends to play music, he sure enjoyed joking and laughing around, telling his stories. He did enjoy his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was of Baptist Faith and a member of Sequoyah Baptist Church.

Adam is preceded in death by his wife: Corena Wolfe, the mother of his children: Lucille Ross, brother: Jimmy Dean Wolfe, 2 sisters: Dorothy Brackett, and Mary Wolfe, infant daughter: Ouaitie Wolfe.

He is survived by his 4 daughters: Theresa Wolfe of Atlanta, Georgia, Cherokee Wolfe, Pauletta and Pedro Perez, and Michelle Chewey-Wolfe all of Stilwell, Oklahoma. 3 sons: Scott and Tina Wolfe, Ross and Veronica Wolfe, Bart and Mona Wolfe all of Stilwell, Oklahoma. 3 stepsons: Chip and Marilyn Cochran, Mouse and Angela Chewey, and Mike Chewey all of Stilwell, Oklahoma. Siblings: Bird Wolfe of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Tommy Wolfe of Flute Springs, Oklahoma, Henry Wolfe of Catoosa, Oklahoma, and sister: Betsy Lou Wing of Hulbert, Oklahoma. 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive him.
