Wanda was born in Oklahoma in 1933 to Homer and Tina Powell. She moved to California with her family in 1935. Wanda met Leonard in the Fall of 1951. Wanda was working at Mitchner's Drive-In as a carhop; the two met and fell in love. On December 5, 1952 Wanda married Leonard Witcher.

Wanda will be missed by her husband, Leonard Witcher; her daughter and son-in-law, Skip and Sharon Main; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Caryl Witcher; her grandchildren, Brandy Mejia, Christine Blain, Robert Main, Jonathon Witcher, Tyson Witcher and Daniel Witcher; her great grandchildren, Taylor Mejia, Emily Mejia, Joshua Mejia, Hayley Mejia, Davin Blain, Colton Main, Kylee Main, Cody Main; her sister, Verla White; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Mazie Witcher and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special heartfelt thanks from our entire family goes to Hoffman Hospice for their love, support and care of our Nani.

Wanda's life centered around her family. Funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Mortuary on Friday, July 23, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. We will be saying goodbye for now, and looking forward to a reunion in Heaven with our mom, and Nani to her grandchildren.
