Kentrina LaShane Wissman, 41, a Shawnee resident, got her wings and went home to her Father on Friday, November 27, 2015.
Kentrina was born August 28, 1974 in Shawnee, to Oran Kenneth Abel Jr. and Diana Carol Hollingshead.
She was a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and aunt who loved her family with all her heart.
She is survived by Kenneth and Jo Anne Abel and Diana and Gary Hollingshead; her husband, Derrick and children Lindsay, Jordan and Katelynn Wissman; sister Cassie Watkins and her husband Phillip; brothers Kenny Abel and wife Sara and Kevin Abel and wife Nicole.
Kentrina was one of the best aunts and leaves behind nieces and nephews, Oran and Mack Abel, Peyton and Ella Watkins, Elizabeth and future baby, Lillian Abel and numerous other family members.
She joins her grandmother, Korah Estelle Cross, grandmother, Wanda Lee Abel and niece, Lillian Angel Wissman.
Kentrina was a beloved teacher who worked alongside her best friend, Angel Palmer. Her love for children exuded in her daily work as she has been teaching for many years and earned her Master's Degree in early childhood education. She will be loved and greatly missed.
She was also a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church and was a devout Christian. She gave her time, money and effort to helping others.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, at Temple Baptist Church of Shawnee located at 1234 E Highland Shawnee, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family has arranged a Go-Fund Me page to assist the family with Kentrina's final arrangements.
Kentrina's favorite Bible verse and what she would want us to live by was, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." {Jeremiah 29:11}
