Byrl C. Wise, Jr. passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Alliance Health Hospital in Ponca City. He was 64 years old. Byrl was born on September 29, 1953 in Houston, Texas to his parents, Byrl Cletus Wise and Hazel Lenora (Reeder) Wise. He grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School. He completed his associates degree at NOC in Tonkawa. Byrl worked for many years as a hotel clerk at the Holiday Inn in Ponca City. 

Byrl is survived by his daughter, Ami Johnson and husband Don of McAlester, Oklahoma, daughter, Nikki Bagshaw of Ponca City, son, Jason Wise and wife Erin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, mother, Hazel Irons of Davis, Oklahoma, as well as six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Byrl Wise, Sr. and his son, Steven Nicholas Blake "Bucky" Wise.

Byrl is being cared for and cremated by Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.
