HAYWARD - Memorial service for Michael A. Winters, 69-year-old Hayward resident, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jason Vines will officiate. A private family burial will be at a later date. There will be a family dinner at 11 a.m. Wednesday July 17, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Marshall, Okla.
Michael was born Aug. 8, 1943, in Walla Walla, Wash., to William and Bernice (Coffey) Gerst and died Friday, July 12, 2013, at St. Mary?s Regional Medical Center.
She attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Covington High School.
Michael married Edwin Winters April 24, 1965, in Lucien, Okla.
She was very artistic with interests ranging from wood-working to painting. She also loved all animals.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin of the home; her son, William "Bill" Winters of Hayward, Okla.; her daughter, Patricia and Tommy Ankrom of Marshall, Okla.; grandchildren, Crystal Lairmore, Laci Lairmore, Kaylei Ankrom and Riley Ankron, all of Marshall, Okla.; one sister, Sandra Cannon of Layton, Utah; and one brother, Dennis Gerst of Stillwater, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gary "Woody" Gerst.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Salvation Army.
