James Robert Winslow, aged 81, of Blanchard, Oklahoma passed away on November 13th, 2017.
Jim was born in Hartshorne, Oklahoma on July 9th, 1936. He graduated from El Reno High School and continued to receive a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Jim was married to Martha Jo Winslow, on January 18th, 1964; they were married for 53 years.
Jim worked as a Supervising Manager for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline. He enjoyed woodworking, and his pieces can be found around Blanchard, Wichita, KS, and Las Cruces, NM. He was also actively involved in the church. He supported many mission projects and organizations, most significantly, many donations given to Samaritan's Purse.
Jim is survived by his wife Martha Jo Winslow, his brothers, Cleon, Carl, and Paul, and his children; Donna and her husband Chris, Keri and her husband Anthony, David and his wife Lena. As well as his grandchildren: Margaret, George, Madeline, Sophia, Catharine, Eleanor, Theodore, Anna, Julia, and Timothy, and many other lovely nieces and nephews.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Velma and Cleon Winslow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Agape Baptist Church. The family of James Robert Winslow wishes to thank family and friends for being supportive through this difficult time.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
