Sharon Raye (Watson) Winlock
October 19, 1945 ~ May 1, 2023

Sharon Raye Winlock was born on October 19, 1945, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Jess Allen and Edna Mae (Starner) Watson. Sharon passed from this life on May 1, 2023, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 77.

After high school graduation, Sharon attended San Joaquin College and worked as a CNA for the most of her life. She moved to Bryan County in 2015 from Euless, TX and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Sharon loved talking to people and she had a deep love for her family and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Edna Watson.

Loved ones left behind to continue her legacy are her daughters Edna Rogers of McAlester, OK and Jess Hall and husband Derick Thomas of Anna, TX; grandchildren Ryan Rogers and wife Emilee of McAlester, OK, TJ Rogers and wife Josie of Hutchinson, KS, Kaycee Shay of Anna, TX, Isaiah Godinez and wife Sami Strunk of Euless, TX., Elijah Godinez of Anna, TX, and Alayjah Anderson of Anna, TX; 7 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Viewing hours will be from 12:00 PM – 2:00 prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
