Funeral services for Janet Denise Winkler, age 57, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Friday, February 16, 2024, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Ross officiating. Graveside services will be 4:00 pm, at the Liberal Memorial Cemetery, Liberal, Kansas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Janet was born October 16, 1966, in Hoisington, Kansas, to John and Judy (Scherich) Reed, and passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in Enid.
Janet married Eddie Winkler on July 15, 1984, in Turpin, Oklahoma, and they celebrated almost 40 years of marriage until her passing. Janet had many jobs, but her most enjoyable one was being a mother and grandmother. She had a passion for sewing and cooking. She and Eddie were fostering a little girl, Peyton, whom Janet had grown very fond of.
Janet is survived by her husband Eddie, of the home in Enid; her mother, Judy Benigar and husband Dennis, of Lahoma; four sons, Dustin Winkler and wife Jodi, of Enid; Patrick Winkler and Lori, of Enid; Timothy Winkler and wife Tristan, of Enid; Johnathon Winkler and wife Selby, of Broken Arrow, OK; eight grandchildren; Lane, Connor, Maksim, Liam, Sadie, Jayse, Boston, and Hallee. Three siblings also survive Janet; Juwana Ross and husband Kevin, of Paola, KS; Jeffrey Reed and wife Annie, of Mooreland, OK; and Julie Rogers and husband Chris, of San Jacinto, CA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, John Reed.
Memorial contributions in Janet’s name may be made to the charity of choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
