Bobby J. Winans
November 05, 1936 ~ March 28, 2018

Bobby J. Winans was born on November 5, 1936 in Dallas, TX.  He passed away on March 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with dementia.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. 

He served in the Texas Army National Guard in Ballinger, Texas.  He graduated with a BBA from McMurry University in Abilene, TX in 1961.  He had an extensive career in the oil field industry starting in the sales department with Continental EMSCO and culminating as the Texas/Oklahoma Regional Sales Manager for TRW Mission.  Bobby loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He loved being surrounded by family and spending quality time with them. 

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Dee Ann Winans, his children Larry and Sue Winans, Charlotte and Sam Smith, Monty and Dalia Winans, Teresa Emmerson and Mark Cox, Ashlee and Kevin Lawson and Mitch Davis.  He has eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that people contribute to the Carnegie Library of Ballinger, 204 N. 8th Street, Ballinger, TX 76821 or Center of Family Love, P.O. Box 245, Okarche, OK 73762.

Services to celebrate his life will be held  at 11 AM on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel.
