Bill Wimberly

Bill Wimberly
Oct 31, 1956 ~ May 3, 2015

Bill Wimberly was born October 31st, 1956 in Hobbs, NM. He died on a beautiful day, May 3rd, 2015, while enjoying his favorite past time out at the lake.

Bill became the luckiest man on earth when he married his match, Barbara, in December 1998.

His legacy lives on through his three beautiful daughters and their husbands: Kate and Chase Henderson, Sarah and Reid Beimling, and Lauren and Jordy Acklin. His bonus children and their spouses include Barbara's son Seth and Jessica Conley, and daughter Christina and Joshua Miller. The joy Bill had for life is evident in the faces of his 5 grandchildren: Annmarie, age 9, Jenny Wren, age 8, Skylar, age 5, Hunter, age 2, and Parker, age 1. Bill also leaves behind his spirited mother Bonnie, his "rock" and sister Gayla "Susie" Chapman, and his "Hi-Ho" brother-in-law Randy Chapman. He was hero to his favorite niece, Linn Conrad, and thereby her husband Darrin Conrad and children Matthew, age 16, and Meagan, age 15. Paul Sileo was Bill's favorite nephew, and his family includes wife Amanda and their son Ethan, age 2.

Bill was greeted in heaven by his late father Ben, and together they are fishing through the clouds.

Bill lived life to its fullest, including many accomplishments, like breaking records in Track and Field throughout his high school and Baylor years. We will be celebrating his life with "Wild Bill's Farewell Celebration" on May 30th. Bill was larger-than-life, he never met a stranger, and we will miss you!

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com
