Sylvia Lee Wilson age 56 of Oklahoma City, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, June 17, 2013. Sylvia was born on February 9, 1957 in Torrance, California. She was the 3rd child of four children born to William Odell Woodard and Shirley Jeanette (Madden) Woodard. During her younger years growing up, Sylvia lived in Texas. Her family later moved to the Oklahoma City area where she attended Putnam City Schools.
After H.S. she met and later married John Samuel Wilson. They were married on September 23, 1978. Together they made their home in the South OKC area and raised two sons, Billy and Dylan.
Sylvia worked most of her life as a Commercial Bank Teller. She worked 18 years for Liberty Bank in OKC and later many years for Bank of Oklahoma. Because of her failing health, she was forced to retire early. Sylvia loved her family very much and would do anything for them and her friends.
