Martha Ellen Wilson of Arnett of Arnett
Martha Ellen (Shay) Wilson was born on February 4, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to Reva Miller and Roy Eugene Shay Sr. Martha resided in Monte Vista, Colorado during her early life, attending school there and graduating. On November 21, 1969, Martha married the love of her life Denny Earl Wilson at the Ellis County Court House when they were both 23 years old. To this union was blessed three children- Jack, Julie, and Dustin.
Following the marriage, Martha lived in Arnett, Oklahoma; South Forks, Colorado; Beatty, Nevada; Las Vegas, Nevada; and finally, back to Arnett, Oklahoma. Martha took care of the home, and she enjoyed cooking and horses. She was a member of the First Christian Church, attending regularly.
Martha passed from this life on April 25, 2019. Preceding her in death are her parents, Reva and Roy Shay; husband Denny Wilson; son Jack Wilson; and daughter Julie Wilson. Surviving Martha is her son, Dustin Wilson of Woodward, Oklahoma; her brothers Roy Shay Jr. of Colorado, and Chuck Wynia of San Clementa, California; grandchildren Carly, Avery, and Adrian Wilson; 1 niece; and many friends and loved ones.
