Jimmy Leroy Wilson

May 17, 1944 ~ May 15, 2018

Funeral service for Jimmy is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Helena First Christian Church. There will be no public viewing.

Jimmy Leroy Wilson was born May 17, 1944, in Enid to Everett and Alice Murray Wilson, and died on May 15, 2018. Jimmy was raised in the Nash and Goltry areas and graduated from Goltry High School in 1963. He was involved in 4-H and FFA. 

He attended Okmulgee Tech where he studied diesel mechanics. Jimmy was a National Guard member. He worked at the Helena Training School, in the oilfield, farmed, and worked for Alfalfa County. He loved fast cars, horses and his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of Goltry; sons, Shawn Paul and wife, Nicole; Arron and wife, Michelle; and Jimmy Jr. and wife, Tiffani; daughters, Kelly and T.J. and husband, Chris; sisters, Roberta, Carol and Marlene; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Goltry Fire Department, through Lanman Funeral Home.
