Edward Wilson, Sr.

December 22, 1931 ~ July 19, 2015

Edward Wilson, Sr. of Marble City, age 83, died Sunday, July 19 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  The family will greet friends Monday, July 27 from 1-4 p.m. at the Marble City Town Hall. 

He was born on December 22, 1931 in Marble City to Ned Wilson and Esther McCoy Wilson. 

Edward married Judith Ann Moore on June 21, 1999 in Hartsville, Tennessee. 

He provided the maintenance of athletic grounds for Coweta Schools. 

Edward was preceded in death by his parents Ned and Esther (McCoy) Wilson, daughters Esther Sanders, Deborah Wilson, Brenda Rhoades, and Ruth Keller, sons Bruce Carey and Furmin Hays, and sister Nannie Davis. 

Survivors include his wife Judith "Koki" Wilson of the home; children Sonny Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Tim Carey, Raymond Hays, Robert St. Sauver, Brett St. Sauver, Rena Glenn, Pam Wilson, and Glenda Hays; one sister, Annie Deherrera; two brothers, Floyd Wilson and Leroy Wilson; and many other relatives and friends, including 35 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren. 

Arrangements are by Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
