Drake Alan Wilmot was born in Enid, Oklahoma, on June 24, 1999. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 7, 2017, at the young age of 18 years old and will be reunited with his great-grandparents, Bobby Stowers, Anita and Richard Bennett, Ruth Smith and cousin, Heath Michael Wright.
He will be remembered and missed by his parents, Christine and Chris Hempfling, father, Josh Bennett and wife, Dana, sister, Caitlin Wilmot and Skylar Bartel and sister, Farrah Hempfling, brothers, Isaac Hempfling and Peyton Terry, nephew, Eli Bartel, great-grandma, Patsy Stowers, great-grandparents, Bob and Regina Smith, grandmother, Brenda Bennett, grandparents, Teresa & Ed Wilmot, Stan and Suzy Bennett, and Chris & Linda Hempfling, best friend and roommate, Dakota Custer, aunts Kassie Bennett and Sheera Sirola, uncles, Scott Bennett and wife Elisa, Vance Wilmot, and Brett Wilmot and wife, Marissa, and his aunt, Ryan and husband Tim Rosenberg.
A funeral ceremony for Drake is 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the United Methodist Church in Lamont.
Drake and his family are being cared for by Trout Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Tonkawa.
