Joseph Cameron Willson

Joseph Cameron Willson
September 1, 1981 ~ March 21, 2023

Joseph Willson, age 41, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 21, 2023.

Joe was born on September 1, 1981, to Donna and Martin Willson in Stockton, California. During his childhood, Joe attended Bear Creek High School, played several sports, and created lifelong friendships before joining the Air Force in 2000.

Joe served in the Iraq War as an airman in the United States Air Force. He was a Veteran who served honorably with 20 years of service. Joe’s military experience played an important role in his life. He was a private and quiet person, but also very witty and fun to be around. He was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and kind. Joe was a proud father who loved his family, friends, golf, and vacations. He was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Joe. They were part of who he was, and people loved him for that.

Joe was predeceased by his father, Martin Willson. He is survived by his daughter, Jenna; mother, Donna; siblings, Toby (Stephanie), Holly (J.R.), Andy (Jennifer); nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Mercer-Adams Funeral Home will host services on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11am. Following a military funeral, Joe’s family will host a celebration of life at Lincoln Park Golf Course.
