Sue (Sutton) Willis

Sue (Sutton) Willis
November 9, 1930 ~ May 30, 2021

Sue Willis, 90, passed away in her Bartlesville home on Sunday, May 30, 2021. She was born in Marshall County, Oklahoma to parents William Robert and Gladys Irene (Pardue) Sutton.

She moved to Bartlesville in 1954 and spent her working career at Phillips Petroleum Company. She was very involved with the Jane Phillips Sorority during her time there. After 30 years as a crude oil analyst, Sue took retirement in 1984.

Sue’s greatest love was for her family. Family was always her number one priority, and she loved and valued them above all else. She relished the time spent with her family, and especially her relationship with her grandchildren. Sue was a people person, and she would help anyone in need, and welcomed them with arms wide open. Sue was a long-time member of Town and Country Christian Church, and when she was no longer able to attend services there, she enjoyed worship at Highland Park Baptist. Sue also had a fondness for travel, and her favorite vacation spots were on tropical islands. Sue was always very active, and her charisma and spunk will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.

Sue is survived by her two daughters, Renee and husband Bernie Baldwin and Pam and husband Frank Danel, all of Bartlesville. She is also survived by four grandsons and three granddaughters, as well as 15 great grandchildren.

There will be a service celebrating the life of Sue Willis on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 10 am at Highland Park Baptist Church. In Lieu of flowers, please send all donations to Highland Park Baptist Church, 300 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
