Harriet Elizabeth Willis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, entered Heaven's gates on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the age of 88. She was born October 8, 1927 in Coyle, Oklahoma to her parents, Harry Leslie and Ruby Lucille (Shaw) Minnich.
After graduating from Coyle High School in 1944 as her class valedictorian at the age of 16, Harriet attended business school and worked at the Bell telephone office in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Harriet met the love of her life, Billy Wayne Willis and was later married on September 26, 1948. This union of marriage was blessed with two daughters, Marilyn and Susan. A longtime member of the Episcopal Church, Harriet dedicated her life to being a loving wife, devoted mother, dedicated homemaker, and served the Lord and others with all of her heart. She was always involved with her children and their interests. Harriet was a Sunday school teacher, home room mother, Brownie and Girl Scout leader, band parent member and president. She was a very talented seamstress and needle point expert. She was a devoted fan of her grandchildren's sports and dance activities. She will be deeply missed.

Grandson, Jonathan Dunn and his wife, Gabrielle;
4 Great
Grandchildren: Braydon and Ashton Keneda and Madison and Zayne Stubbs;
Many other beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial Services held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Trinity Episcopal Church (310 E. Noble Avenue, Guthrie, OK 73044)
