Robert "Bobby" Williamson

Robert "Bobby" Williamson
December 14, 1946 ~ July 29, 2017

Robert "Bobby" Williamson was born December 14, 1946 to Robert and Francis Williamson in Albany, New York.  He passed away on July 29, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma.  Memorial Services will be at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 3:00 PM.  Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Bobby is the first person to tell you exactly what he's thinking whether you like it or not.  He is the same person who would give you his last dollar and the shirt off his back.

His favorite color is blue.  Jessica believes this is because it's the color of the sky on the open road.  When Jessica was little they used to drive the open road while singing to Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again".  It was their favorite song.  They truly were bandits rolling down the highway and he was her best friend.

Bobby has a passion towards animals of all kinds.  He supported the Lawton Police Department K-9 unit by purchasing a police dog.  Everyone knew there would be a post on his Facebook, daily, regarding lost dogs searching for their home.  He had such a big heart and found the most joy in life by helping others.

Bobby was part of many organizations including, welders union, plumber union, Patriot Guard, Three Wheel Club, NRA member and Kentucky Bikers Association.  He was also a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Navy on the USS Vesuvius AE-15.

His hobbies included riding his motorcycle, rescuing animals, fulfilling patriotic duties, cooking, traveling, and resting his eyes (relaxing).

He will be missed by so many of his friends and family.

The family would like to thank his friends, the Lawton Police Department Officers, Helens and District Judge Irma Newburn for all of their love and support over the years.

Bobby is survived by his daughters, Jessica and Nile Williamson, of Draper, UT and Beverly and Tommy Williams of Sonora, KY; sisters Claudia Grimes of Elizabethtown, KY, Charlene and Joe Oberholtzer of Pottstown, PA, Francis and T.R. Sekerak of The Villages, FL, Susan and Jim Ronan of Oklahoma City, OK, Laura and Jeff McCann of Murfreesboro, TN, and Margarete Williamson of Kingston, NY; brothers Steven Williamson of Plattekill, NY, Michael Williamson of Kingston, NY, Keith Williamson of Kingston, NY; and lifetime friend Betty St Pierre of Elizabethtown, KY.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son Wade Williamson; brother Richard (Ritchie) Williamson; sister Debra Lynn Williamson; and sister-in-law Nancy Williamson.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.
