Pamela Jayne (Ashford) Williamson

Pamela Jayne (Ashford) Williamson
March 13, 1954 ~ January 10, 2018

Pamela Jayne Williamson, age 63 of Tulsa, OK. passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born to Malcolm Avert Ashford and Martha Jayne Ashford on March 13, 1954 in Bowie, TX.

At the age of 17, she married Billy Shipman in Nuevo Laredo, MX. After graduating Richland High School in 1972, she moved to Houston, TX. She had her first child, Heather Nicole Squires (Shipman), born in 1975. Pam and Bill divorced in 1980 and Pam returned to Ft. Worth, TX with her daughter. She later met her 2nd husband, Craig Williamson, in 1986. They had their son, Daniel Craig Williamson in 1987, then married the following year. They had their daughter, Sarah Whitney Williamson in 1993. They relocated to Bartlesville, OK in 1994. Pam and Craig's divorce was final in 1998. Pam then married Marvin Warehime in 2003 and they divorced in 2005.

Pam began painting at a young age and was an amazing artist. Her paintings would range anywhere from landscapes, wildlife, to mystical creatures and clowns. She was an avid reader and could read an entire book in a couple of days. She loved gardening, music, dancing, cooking, watching Jeopardy, and especially loved her dogs, Harley and Jazmine.

Pam was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer July 2016 following a trip to Colorado to attend her daughter Heather's wedding. She received immunotherapy treatment with very little need for radiation and showed signs of improvement. Unfortunately, she had to discontinue the treatment due a battle with pneumonia (a side effect of the medication). This enabled the cancer to progress and eventually led to her hospitalization. She later moved to hospice care in Bartlesville (to be close to family).

During this time, her daughter, Heather, came to Oklahoma to be with her mom. Sarah previously lived with Pam in Tulsa, but relocated to Bartlesville to live with her dad. While in hospice care, Pam's children were able to spend time with her, which provided closure for them, as well as bringing them closer together as a family.

Pam is survived by her children, Heather Squires, Daniel Williamson, Sarah Williamson, grandchildren, Lydia Williamson and Levi Williamson, mother, Martha Ashford, her siblings, Mark Ashford and Lisa Ashford-Hoote, along with cousins and other family members.

The memorial will be held Saturday @2pm, January 27, 2018 at Stumpff Funeral Home 1600 SE Washington Blvd. Bartlesville, OK 74006 918.333.4300
