Eddie Joe Williamson

Eddie Joe Williamson
January 21, 1948 ~ April 17, 2026

Eddie Joe Williamson, of Salina, passed away April 17, 2026. Born to Kathryn (Jafek) and Jarome Williamson in Stillwater, Oklahoma on January 21, 1948.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eugene “Moose” Williamson.

He is survived by his wife, Lynette (married since 2009); son Derek (Leslie) Williamson; 2 daughters Teresa Smith and Tina Miller; 3 granddaughters, Chally (Aaron) Lytle, Avery and Allison Williamson; brother Don Williamson; sister Helen (Duane) Wilson.

Eddie worked on the oil pipeline, drove a semi-truck for Daylight Donuts, and then he became a sales representative for Daylight traveling from shop to shop across various states where he met Lynette 27 years ago. He also worked for Midwest Security at Salina Regional Health Center and volunteered at Milford Lake for five enjoyable summers with his wife.

On weekends and after retirement, Eddie enjoyed golfing, reading westerns, garage sales, going to auctions and fishing. When he was fishing, he was the captain of a fishing boat full of girls and the biggest fishing trash talker there was. However, he had the patience of a saint when his wife and daughter Teresa tangled each other up! Eddie was a deeply loved grandfather and husband who loved time with his granddaughters. He never hesitated to join tea parties or talk on the phone for hours with his granddaughter, Chally, and loved to travel and visit his granddaughters, Avery and Allison.

Eddie was a treasured member of his family and will be terribly missed.

A “Come and Go” visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m., - 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St., Salina, KS.

Memorials can be made to the family in care of Ryan Mortuary to aid funeral and unexpected expenses.
