Dean Williamson
August 9, 1959 ~ December 17, 2010 (age 51)

Memorial services for Dean Williamson, age, 51, of Norman will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 23, 2010 in The Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street, Norman, Oklahoma.

Dean was born August 9, 1959 in Sallisaw, OK the son of Bill and Freida (Claxton) Williamson.  He attended schools in Pauls Valley, OK graduating from Pauls Valley High School in 1977.  He then attended East Central State College in Ada, OK for a brief time before relocating to Norman in 1980,where he began a career in the oil and gas industry working as a landman for the past 25 years.

Dean enjoyed spending time on his jet ski at Lake Thunderbird, watching and supporting OU Football and was an avid car enthusiast.  Dean was greatly loved by his family, including Regina and Tara.  

Dean was a generous man, quietly supporting various charities.  His humble and giving spirit will be missed by numerous organizations.  

Survivors include his mother; Freida Williamson of Norman; his father, Bill Williamson of Norman; two brothers; Randy Williamson of Norman; Don Williamson and his wife, Liz, of Houston, TX; two sisters; Debbie Douglass of Norman; and Dr. Sherrie Williamson of Norman; two nephews; Drew Douglass of Norman, OK and Tyler Douglass of Davis, CA; and his life companion, Regina Smith and daughter, Tara.
