Roy Dale Williams departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in Stroud, OK.
Dale was born at his family’s log home on Monday, October 31, 1949, to Victor “Red” Leroy Williams and Clara Bell Whitfield Williams in Choate Prairie. Dale grew up in the Indianola/Crowder area, graduating from Crowder High School. Dale worked his entire working life in the Oil industry. He worked his way up from working on rigs to becoming supervisor, having just retired a couple of years ago. Dale was an incredibly hard worker. In his free time, Dale loved to be outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Dale’s biggest pride and joys were his grandchildren.
Dale is preceded by his parents Victor and Clara Williams; daughter Christy Pendergraff; sisters Wilma Helms and Jessie Brandt and brother Frankie “Buster” Estes.
Dale leaves behind daughters Rhonda Rozell and husband Robert and Diana Porter and husband Roger; son Jody Williams and wife Shelly; grandchildren Adrienne Clark, Chasity Rozell, Michael Rozell, Adam Rozell, Stephen Vincent, Emily Howard, Cassie Porter, Jenifer Wood, Riley Williams, Hailey Williams, Danielle Smith, Cody Pendergraff, Dionna Deweese, and Destiny Deweese; 16 great grandchildren; brother Dennis Ray Williams; sisters Peggy Johnson, Clara Fay Gray and Linda Kay Ketchum; beloved dog Bonnie; special friends Leon and Sharla Foster, Autumn Mantooth and Christal Tucker; as well as many extended family and a host of friends.
