Russell Jean Williams

Russell Jean Williams, Perkins resident, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2011 in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years.

The son of the late Russell Williams and Rose Howell Williams, Russell was born on March 23, 1925 in Turpin, Oklahoma, where he was also reared and educated.

Russell was united in marriage to Anna May Leaming on July 18, 1950 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. To this union four children, Betsy, Sam, Becky and David, were born. Anna preceded him in death.

Russell enjoyed fishing and reading. He had told his family "he can learn what he needs to through books" and the last several years, he changed that to "he could learn anything on the internet".

Survivors include four children, Betsy Keeling, Sam Williams, Becky Williams and David Williams; four grandchildren; one sister, LuRose Williams and other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held.
