Michael Anthony Williams was born August 25, 1955, to Cornelius and Janette Williams of Fairfax, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Janette Williams, his brother, Earnie Lee Williams and his son, Donald Ray Williams.
Michael attended Sweet Home Baptist Church and at age 16 gave his life to Christ and was baptized in Christ. He rededicated his life to Christ while going to bury his mother.
Michael graduated from Fairfax High School in 1973 and joined the U.S. Marine Corp and was honorably discharged.
He later met Helen Chambray and to their union was born a son he adored, Donald Ray.
Growing up Michael was teased by his big brothers because of his love for comic books and his brother Neil lovingly nicknamed him “Rook” short for “Rookie.” His Grandfather, Big Dad, called him “Rabbit Twister” because of his inability to sit or stand still.
Michael’s fun uplifting free spirit was full of love for his family and his relatives. He loved people and called everyone he met his friend.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory an undying and devotional love for his siblings especially his sisters, Patricia McGinnis, Cathy Phillips, Janice Williams, Marilyn Post, and Denise Caldwell, he lovingly called them his “Angels.” They truly loved their “Baby Brother” and did all they could for him. His brothers, Leo Williams, Leon Williams, Neil Williams and brother-in-law’s, Nathaniel Phillips and Michael Post shined in his eyes, he called them his “Protectors” and always looked up to them. They were true examples of men that Michael aspired to be like. All his Nieces and Nephews brought joy to his heart, he loved them all. His Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and many Special Friends he treasured in his heart.
