Kenneth Leon Williams

November 29, 1932 ~ March 12, 2022

Kenneth Leon Williams, 89, passed away on March 12, 2022 at Prairie Pointe Assisted Living in Stroud, OK. Leon grew up on Stroud with his mother Edith and step-father Woodrow W. Sosbee. His father Jimmy Williams, died when Leon was a baby.

He married Peggy Sue Hicks of Davenport, OK on August 20, 1954, now deceased. They were married for 64 years.

Leon is survived by his daughter Luann Williams of Stroud and son Douglas L. Williams of Atlanta; grandchildren Cody Williams and Kinsey Williams; one great granddaughter Hailey Williams and sister Patti Sosbee Riley and her family.

Leon was preceded in death by wife, Peggy and grandson Jason D. Williams.

Leon had a very successful career in the field of refractories. He and his wife loved to travel, golf and entertain at home.
