Joyce Faye (Sheerer) Williams
April 07, 1934 ~ October 10, 2020

Joyce completed her journey on earth and entered her eternal reward early Sunday morning, October 11, 2020, at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cato and Pearl Sheerer, her brother, Jim Sheerer, and sister Virginia Rich.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Charles; her daughters, Judi Lashley, and husband Bob of Edmond, Oklahoma, Lesa Branch, and husband Charlie of Advance, North Carolina, and Dana McMichael, and husband B.J., of Stillwater, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Andy Lashley, Aubrie Lucas, Byron Branch, Daniel Branch, Leslie Bloodworth, Courtney Branch, Emily Branch, David McMichael, Jonathan McMichael and Joshua McMichael. She is survived by thirteen great grandchildren, Mia and Bode Lashley, Henson and Simon Ross, Wyatt, Truett, Harper Lee, and Ellison Branch. Her great grandchildren also included Evelyn, Elizabeth and Warren Branch, and twins, Marty and Emory Bloodworth. Joyce is survived by her sister Mary Layfield and a host of dear friends in God’s family.

Joyce was baptized into Christ near her twelfth birthday and has been a faithful member of His kingdom since that time. She sought to serve the Lord by giving of herself in such ministries as teaching children and Ladies Bible class and working alongside her husband in the church.

Visitation will be at Buchanan Funeral Service on Friday, October 16th, from 1-8 PM, with family receiving guests from 6-8 PM. A funeral will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 17th at North Macarthur Church of Christ.
