Herbert Williams son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Williams of Oilton, Oklahoma, was born December 12, 1922. Died May 29, 1928. Aged six years, five months and seven days. Herbert had been a constant sufferer for eight weeks from the effects of that dread disease spinal meningitis. Everything was done for his comfort and to restore him to health, but he gradually failed in strength and wasted away in death.
Funeral services were held from the residence on Sixth street; Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock conducted by Pastor Moore, of the Baptist church. He read commented Mark 5:35-43. Matthew 1-10, showing that the little children are safe in the arms of Jesus reclining upon his gentle breast, having entered Heaven to begin an endless career of glorious development.
