Emma Cleo (Kirkland) Williams

March 21, 1917 ~ March 22, 2004

Services: Sat., Mar. 27, 10 a.m.

Visitation will be held today, 12-8 p.m., with an hour of medication being held tonight from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the Jesse E. Cooley, Jr. Chapel for Emma C. Williams, who passed away March 22, 2004. Services will be held Saturday, March 27, 10 a.m., at Cain AME Church, 630 California Ave. Dr. L. Fisher Hines officiating. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Emma Cleo Kirkland Williams was born March 21, 1917, in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Maude and Henry Kirkland. November of 1929 the Kirkland family moved to California.

Emma attended school in Bakersfield. She met and married Robert Williams January 22, 1938. They resided in Buttonwillow, CA for over 60 years. They were blessed with five children, Imogene Campbell (Clyde) of Bakersfield, CA, Robert Williams, Jr., (LaFlora) of Riverside, CA, Richard Williams (Nancy) of Buttonwillow, CA, Diane Williams of Bakersfield, CA, and Kenneth Williams (Marilyn) of Bakersfield, CA.
