Celebration of Life Services for Tom Williams will be Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Robnett officiating. Masonic rites will follow the service.
Tom was born on December 31, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edwin and Helen (Roller) Williams and passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Enid.
Tom grew up in Helena and graduated high school in Chickasha. He moved to Enid and married Susan Whitsitt on November 13, 1976. They made their home in Enid. Tom worked several places before going to work at Vance Air Force Base in the T-6 Warehouse. After retiring from Vance, Tom worked part time at Bass Hospital. Tom was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was past president of Enid Shrine Club, and a member of Enid Shrine Klowns, Akdar Shrine, and the Scooter Unit. Tom was an active member of the Guthrie Scottish Rite Temple. He was involved with the Masonic Lodge, serving as Past Master Enid #80 and Past Secretary of Garfield #501. Tom was past president of Enid Jaycees.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tom is survived by his wife, Susan of the home; brother Frederick "Fred" Williams of Burkburnett, TX; two nieces Michelle Gilbert and husband Brandon of Montgomery, AL, Jennifer Childers and husband James of Coyle, OK; several great-nieces and -nephews; and many friends.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Enid Shriners Transportation Fund or Christ United Methodist Church.
