Charles Williams, age 74 of Purcell, passed away Tuesday April 2, 2013 at his home. Charles Carroll Williams was born January 19, 1939 in Elwood, IN, the younger of 2 children born to Charles A. Williams and Zita Loretta (Carroll) Williams. He grew up in Elwood and attended Elwood St. Joseph Catholic School graduating in 1956. He joined the United States Army and served his country proudly. After his service, he returned back to school. Charles worked as a barber for a few years, before taking a job with Guide Lamp. He married his true love; a young woman named Patricia A. Faulstich on November 18, 1978 in Pendleton, IN. They moved to Purcell in 1981. Charles began a career with the State Department of Corrections, retiring in 2000 as a Unit Manager. Charles loved his family and it meant a great deal to him, having them close. He enjoyed playing poker and never missed an opportunity to go fishing. He will be greatly missed!

Charles leaves behind: His wife, Pat, of the home; Daughters, Lori Helton of Rogers, AR, Anita Holford of Alexandria, IN, Donna Nabors of Purcell, OK and Tricia Bennett of Purcell; His son, Andy Williams of Elwood, IN; 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; A brother-in-law, Robert Tharp and many other family and friends.
A Funeral Mass Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell. Arrangements by Wilson-Little of Purcell.
