Bob R. Williams of Choctaw Oklahoma marched his way through the Great Valley to the Gates of Heaven to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 12, 2013.
Bob was proceeded in death by his mother Effie Coburn Williams, his father Ray R. Williams and his beloved brother Tom Williams.
Bob is survived by his loving spouse Ruth Williams, his children Bobby G. Williams of Choctaw, Ok., Danny & Annette Williams of Choctaw, Ok, Lonny & Freda Williams, of Mustang, Ok, Johnny & Toni Williams of Choctaw, Ok., Saundra & Darren Prater of Choctaw, Ok., Patrick & Stacey Williams of Choctaw, Ok., and Terry Williams of Choctaw, Ok.
Bob is also survived by his sister Lois Battrick of N. Dakota, sister Sigalee Petty of Visalia, Calif. and sister Leta Alberts of Denver Colorado.
Bob enlisted in to the Army at the age of 17. While stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma he met and married is wife, Ruth Pendley and together they traveled and enjoyed a long Military Career of 22 years and a lasting marriage of 64 years.
Bob Williams is the proud father of 7 children , grandfather to 18 Grandchildren and 12 great Grandchildren.
Bob Williams served in both the Korean War and Vietnam War, retiring from the Army in 1973 and settling his family in Choctaw, Oklahoma where he lived out his life surround by his loving family.
