Mary Cecelia Willard, resident of Burbank, Oklahoma, began her journey to heaven late Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2022, while a patient at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 65 years, 6 months, and 27 days young.
A member of the baby boomer generation, Mary was born to Joan Porter and Benjamin Salvatore Klein on Wednesday, September 26, 1956, in Miami Florida.
On Friday, February 12, 1999, in Bentonville, Arkansas, Mary wed her best friend and love of her life, Larry Willard. The couple made their home in Burbank, Okla. and remained there until her death. Their union recently spanned over twenty-three years.
Mary worked in the medical field as a Certified Medication Aide in multiple area Nursing Homes including Pawnee and locations in Ponca City, Okla.
Getting out and going ̶ whether it be gaming at the Casino, fishing on the river, dancing with Larry, or singing her heart out at Karaoke all were among Mary’s favorite activities. She also enjoyed nature, especially the beautiful trees and flowers growing around her home.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry of the home; son David Kingsley of Tampa, Florida; two sisters; and numerous grandchildren. She reunited in heaven with her parents.
Her family has chosen to honor Mary’s life in Private without any formal services. During this tough time, your love and support are both appreciated. Arrangements are being overseen by Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home, Fairfax.
