Kathryn Ann "Kathy" Wilkowski, age 76 of Oklahoma City, passed away February 2, 2019, at St. Anthony's, surrounded by loved ones. Kathy was born on August 13, 1942 in Oklahoma City to parents Jack and Almeda Heaslet.

As a young girl she enjoyed horseback riding and participating in shows and parades with her papa. She attended Sacred Heart grade school, followed by Mount Saint Mary's High School, where she graduated from in 1960.

After graduating she married the love of her life, John Wilkowski. They made their home in Oklahoma City. The union blessed them with four children, Cheryl, John, Robert, and Thomas. She spent most of her life as a home maker, and took great joy in caring for and feeding her family delicious home cooked meals. Kathy had a wide array of interests.

Over the years she took up tinkering with and collecting dolls. She made many wonderful dolls, and was gifted in repairing dolls for others. She was an avid fan of Dr. Pepper, and collector of Dr. Pepper memorabilia. She also loved Norman Rockwell artwork, and collected commemorative spoons.

For a short time Kathy and John made their home in Purcell to be near family, before returning to Oklahoma City in 2008.

She was a deeply devoted follower of Christ. Kathy was a long time member of the Sacred Heart Church, and The Saint James Catholic Greater Church in Oklahoma City. She was also a member of the Infant of Prague Guild, which brought her many years of fellowship and enjoyment with friends.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother who always put the needs of others above those of her own. She will be dearly missed.
