Jimmie was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on January 9, 1946 to the late William Benjamin Wilkerson & Martha May (Butts) Wilkerson. He passed from this life at his home on September 2, 2024 at the age of 78 years, 7 months, & 24 days. Jimmie was raised and educated in Bristow.
He married Sandra May Carper in 1966 & they made their home in Sand Springs. In 1971 they moved to Drumright. In 1979, he opened J&S Fittings, Inc. which is still going strong today. His success in business has brought much joy to his life and his legacy will continue for generations.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse: Sandra in 2020; 11 Brothers: Ovel – Valice – Emmett – Albert – Williw – Haskel – Henry – Carl – Odis – David - & Junior; plus 4 Sisters: Dora Scott – Dorthy Henderson – Imogene Crittendon - & Vivian Lowrey.
He leaves his unmatched work ethic, principles, and values to his loving children: Billy Don Wilkerson of Depew – Benny Wilkerson of Depew; Donita Hope & husband Mike of Kansas, OK; Grandchildren: Robert – Levi – Makya – Ashlee & Josh Nic - Macey - & Carper; Great Grandchildren: Matix – Sawyer – Knox – Briggs - & Benny; plus an enormous amount of Nieces – Nephews – Cousins – Other Relatives - & Friends. If you knew Jimmie, you always had a friend. He will be greatly missed.
