Glenda Charlene (Wilson) Wilkerson
August 15, 1953 ~ March 10, 2024

Glenda Charlene Wilkerson, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, March 10th at her home, at the age of 70.

Arrangements of cremation were provided under the direction of Roberts & Son Funeral Home.

The following has been provided by the family:

Our dear mother Glenda Wilkerson left us Sunday, March 10th to go be with our Savior Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful mother that was always there when we needed her. She had a smile that would light up a room. She was a great person to just sit and talk with. She was the hardest worker I ever knew. She had dedicated over forty years of her life to her nursing career and set a great example for her children to follow. It was her calling to help others.

Glenda was born in Blackwell, OK to Robert and Mildred Wilson. She was the second oldest of nine children. She was raised and educated in Blackwell, OK. She was joined in marriage to Ron Wilkerson on March 14th, 1983.

She was preceded in death by her husband, mom, dad, two brothers, and one sister.

Four sisters and a brother survive her. Additionally, she is survived by her three children: a daughter Rachel, and husband Lonnie Smith of Winfield, KS, a daughter Angie, and husband Chris Sanchez of Wichita, KS, and a son Jon Wilkerson, and wife Daylynn of Blackwell, OK. Survivors also include her six grandchildren. Preston Wedman of Ponca City, OK, Dylan Wedman, Marcus Patton, and Amelia Clinton of Winfield, KS, and Abel Wilkerson and ReaLynn Wilkerson of Blackwell, OK.

She has touched the hearts of many people in her life. Her presence is greatly missed, and her memory will always be carried in our hearts.
