Wanda Joyce "Holly" (Hollowell) Wiles

Wanda Joyce "Holly" (Hollowell) Wiles
May 27, 1936 ~ May 5, 2020

“Holly” Wanda Joyce Wiles, age 83, passed from this life on May 5, 2020 at Mercy hospital in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Holly was born on May 27, 1936 in Fruitland, Texas to Eska Loyd and Mary Emma Heugatter Hollowell. Not long after high school, Holly started working for Brockway Glass Plant in Ada and was there until she retired at the age of 55. When Holly wasn’t working, she spent her time volunteering in numerous nursing homes, doing arts and crafts and working in her yard. Her biggest pride and joy and what she loved doing the most was spending time with her nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was such a joy to be around and was a loving sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eska and Emma Hollowell.

Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her siblings, Bill Hollowell of Bowie, Texas, Irene Bryant of Ada, Oklahoma and Glen Hollowell of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, several grand nieces and nephews and many friends.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Holly’s life will be held at 2:00 PM at the Brushy Cemetery in Bowie, Texas. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 1:00 – 7:00 at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home.
