Jackie Gene Wilcox
October 5, 1942 ~ November 27, 2025

Jackie (Jack) Gene Wilcox, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 27, 2025. He was born on October 5, 1942, in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, to Roy and Nora Wilcox where he graduated from Barnsdall High School with the class of 1961. In 1961 Jack enlisted with the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1965.

Jack married the love of his life, Freeda Mae Mayfield, October 1, 1965 in the Barnsdall Assembly of God Church. Jack and Freeda had their first son, Jon Roy Wilcox, September, 1971. Eight years later in March, 1979 their second son, Mark James Wilcox, completed their family.

Jack began his carpentry career in the shop class at Barnsdall High School. He worked in many carpenter shops in the Bartlesville area until retirement. Jack was a devoted christian and he and Freeda attended Grace Community Church, Bartlesville, OK. Jack and Freeda hosted many small groups from church in their home over the years.

Jack is survived by his two sons, Jon (Rushelle) Wilcox of OKC and Mark (Sarah) Wilcox of Savannah, GA. One daughter, Inta (Dennis) Berry of Midland, TX. Three grandsons, Xavier Wilcox, Savannah, GA; Alex Jachmann, Edmond; and Kyle Colombe, OKC. Four granddaughters, Jessica Wilcox, Dewey; Simone Wilcox, Savannah, GA; Beth Berry, Midland, TX; and Lauryn Hadley, OKC. Two great-grandsons, Paxton & Rhett, Midland, TX. One nephew, Robert Spencer of Tulsa. Five nieces, Cheryl (Richard) Herard, Bartlesville; Danette (Freddie) Bishop, Bartlesville; Pam (Boop) Williams, Skiatook; Kim Savage, Skiatook; and Lori (Ryan) Howle, Barnsdall. His lifelong friend Danny (Norma) Wells, Bartlesville.

Preceded in death by his wife, Freeda Mae Wilcox; his parents, Roy and Nora Wilcox; sisters, Carol Wilcox, Betty Spencer, and Joanne Bally; and his parents-in-law Willie and Mildred Mayfield

Memorial Services are scheduled for Saturday, December 6,2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Stumpff Funeral Home,1600 SE Washington Blvd., Bartlesville. In lieu of flowers, Jack’s family requests donations (monetary or supplies) for Journey Home, 900 Washington Blvd,. Bartlesville, OK 74006 in his and Freeda’s memories. There will be a box at the memorial service to collect donations.
