Viewing for Allen “AJ” Wilcox, 82 of Canton, will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10 am at the Fairview Funeral Home. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Allen “AJ” Wilcox was born August 10, 1940 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Locie Allen “LA” and Florence Ellen (Weeks) Wilcox and passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 14 2022 after a long fight with cancer.
AJ grew up in the Fairview area and graduated from Fairview High School. In 1959, AJ married Glenda Palmer and they started their life together. They were soon blessed with two children, Brian and Vicki. AJ was a hard-working man and worked for United States Gypsum in Southard, Oklahoma until he retired.
AJ is survived by his wife Glenda of the home, his son Brian Wilcox, his daughter Vicki Parker and her husband John, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, one brother Ron Wilcox and his wife Ruby, and one sister Elsie Whitten.
AJ was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Elresa Pembrook, and two brothers-in-law.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to OMRF Cancer Division.
