Doris Luella Crosby was born January 28th 1944 in Drumright, OK to Tom and Hattie Crosby. She was 6th of 9 children. Doris met the love of her life Kenneth Wickham and they were married May 13th 1965. They resided in Tulsa, OK most of their marriage and raised a family. Doris's favorite past time was reading and sewing. She would collect dolls, and make outfits for them. Doris also made several blankets and dresses throughout her lifetime. She learned how to sew at a young age to dress herself. Her favorite color was purple, and she loved Halloween and Christmas. Her house would be decorated every year for both holidays. Doris enjoyed traveling and would travel all over the U.S. every year. She even got to visit Paris, England, France, Ireland, Cozamel, and a few others in between. Doris loved to grow things, she had a garden every year and she was the best cook.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Hattie Crosby, her 3 brothers: Robert, Harley, and Powell, 3 of her sisters: Geraldine, Betty, and Virginia, her daughter Elizabeth Brumley, her son Curtis Wickham, and 2 grandchildren Lisa Daniels and C.J. Wickham. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Kenneth, her sisters: Joyce and Jeanette, her children: Harold, Gerald, Kathy, and Donna, her stepchildren: James and Charles, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, and other family she collected along the way.
